These animals are very strong and agile, yet they are poor runners. They have an excellent hearing and acute vision, and, most interesting, they are the only felines except jaguars that can swim. They even have webbed toes that enable them to swim long distances.

Sumatran Tigers live in lowland and mountain forests of Sumatra. They are not as large as Indian or Siberian Tigers, and measure 7-8ft in length. They feature a dark red or orange coat with narrow and thick strips, which also occur on the front legs.
